im injujred and am swimming laps to stay in shape, will those things listed get stronger?

Swimming is a great rehab workout as well as a great way to stay in shape, however, even as an amateur swimmer on my college swim club, we had a weight lifting regiment.

yeah swimming helps strenghten your arms legs and abs. it is also a great way to stay in shape/trim down (if you do enough laps) also it is very relaxing and a great way to tan!

Yes, they will get much stronger. It also depends on which stroke you use. I just started swimming a lot and have noticed changes in my muscle tone and physical features.
