I just have always wanted to go out as a girl and just have a blast. I know it is wierd, but it is something that I have had inside me for a long time.

I would seek some therapy FIRST!!! Dont just "do it" as others are saying, find the reasoning behind it and find out if you are truly wishing to dress as a woman OR have other issues.

Don't jump into something without talking it through with someone you trust, no need to screw up your life for a whim.

Good Luck

I'd say it's pretty normal. I know a lot of guys who want to see if the grass really is greener on the other side. I know just as many who just like women's clothing a lot better. Clothing has become so gender biased in our society but really, what you wear doesn't change who you are, what sex you like or anything except how people look at you. If you want to try it out, go ahead. Do it with or without a female friend.

And to Ted M, who said this is a psychological disorder, it's not at all. It's actually quite a common experience among young men, just most don't end up acting on their urge. If you want to talk about psychological disorders, go rant at someone who thinks it's OK to rape women or children. THAT is a true psychological disorder.

Why do we always think that we have to get reassurance for doing things like this that make us feel good? You aren't hurting anyone, so go for it - full steam ahead!!! It's not "weird" at all. Feeling good about life is a blessing, so accept your blessing and have a blast!

Many people might consider that weird.
Screw many people. (no pun intended).

Do what you want. It is your life. If you think dressing like a girl would make you happy go for it!

Besides, If you think if you live your life based upon what others consider weird you might as well just curl up in a cave because you wont be happy

You have to ask. You would be surprised how many ladies are interested in transvestites. My family and most of my friends know about me and I have never had an adverse comment from any of them and the ladies are all interested and sympathetic. Most of them would not, I suspect, help me to dress but I am sure some of them would

It's not weird to want to dress-up as a girl, I had a few girls who were friends and they loved to dress me up as a girl, I even had 2 girlfriends who loved to dress me up as a girl and one of them is now my wife and she still loves when I dress-up as a girl.
