I think it is sick and what's worse is it influences the masses who do not know how really evil and unhealthy it all is.

Absolutely! I am so disgusted and am at a loss as to what to do to stop it. I lived over in a Muslim country of Turkey and many of the men over there compared the American women to what they viewed on the shows such as Dallas (I was over there in the 80's). They thought we were all loose and promiscuous. I can only imagine how much worse it is now. I believe that many countries outside of America do believe we as a nation are evil in our ways and I also believe it may have to do with the filth shown on television and movies that we allow here in America. It is shameful that every other word is a cuss word and nakedness is the normal. Nothing is sacred and making love is like a past-time, instead of the beautiful thing that it is. I probably sound very old fashioned but I could continue with this discusion for quite sometime as I think today's children are being bombarded with daily stuff that they shouldn't be seeing or hearing at their young ages.

On tv, I watch mostly the History, Nat'l Geographic, Discovery channels etc. So, I am learning many things while staring at the tube~

Oh yes. I grew up not being able to watch TV at all because of the crap on there. Now we watch it in small doses ONLY. My friend watches Desperate Housewives and I can't see for the life of me why her husband allows her to. All the shows fill your head with perverted images and encourage sin.

Yes I am. I think that if the show was any good to begin with they wouldn't have to put sex scenes in it to get people to watch. They are unnecessary and have nothing to do with the plot.

I once read that instead of complaining that you can voice your opinion by just walking away or not watching. So that's what I do.
