Nature's Miracle works with an enzyme to destroy the bacteria that comes from urine to cause the odor. It is not an odor cover, it is actually a non-toxic, biodegradeable, natural product that "eats" up the bacteria from urine that causes the odor. It is probably not coming from the tile, but from the grout which absorbs the bacteria and smells. It is cheaper than ZeroOdor, Odor OUT, Urine Gone or any of the other informercial products. You can find it at most discounters and pet stores.

Use any of the products mentioned, scrub the grout with a brush, wipe up and then reapply and leave overnight. Once the odor is gone, purchase a grout sealer and apply. This will help prevent absorption. I have two Yorke's which, I think are the most stubborn dogs in the world. I have used Nature's Miracle but they still continue to relieve themselves in the same spot even though I have put a pee pad down. (And I do take them out). Go figure.
Sealing the grout has helped. But you do not want to seal in the odor. And, do not wash the area before using the enzyme. I am going to look into the other products mentioned.
Does anyone have an idea for wood floors?

purchase your self a stable steam cleanser, I even have one reported as a Polti, and this is the excellent investment I even have ever made, it cleans the entire of my homestead without volatile chemicals, gets rid of airborne dirt and dust mites from my beds, cleans all my flooring including slate tiles, wood laminate, and carpets. My Polti is my superb chum, as my spouse suffers from bronchial asthma, and her hypersensitive reactions have been decreased to no longer something because of the fact we offered our steam cleanser.

Use an enzyme cleaner such as Canadian Odor control. one distributor's number is 1-800-dog-odor.
No I don't get a kick back - just think it is an excellent product and use it regularly.
