I'm looking to hear other peoples experiences with Obe's as I've experienced quite a few over the years(ok, I don't take drugs).
If you have had an Obe, have you met any spirits/people and how did they appear to you and has there been any communication?
Serious answers please :)

I've had Obe's while laying on my stomach, side and back. Usually it happens as I'm waking up from a sleep and become aware. I start to get a tingling feeling in my body and it starts feeling like it's floating or slipping off the bed/couch.

If anyone is interested, years ago it was only something that happened unexpectedly and I had no control over it.
Nowadays I have a nap/sleep and after a while, instead of waking up fully and getting out of bed, I lay there in a very light slumber, just all relaxed. Then I imagine a point of light in my minds eye and concentrate on it until I feel a tingly sensation in my body and a light buzzing sound in my head, then I try to roll over or rise out of bed, and then I float or drift of the bed. But you cannot concentrate too hard or suddenly think"hey I'm having an obe!" because sometimes that will stun you back into your own body. Just relax and just relax into it, without much awareness.

You are talking about Astral Projection or Astral Traveling

A Ghost is a Spirit which is a Soul the "Etheric body" that we use to Astral Travel so when we pass over that is what leaves the body.

It is understood as a sort of life force body or aura that constitutes the "blueprint" of the physical body, and which sustains the physical body.

Nothing in life is to be feared, It is only to be understood.

When i had an OBE.. it was 9 years ago at a young age.. i remember being in a chair in the room i was sleeping in. It was night and everyone in the house was asleep, so there was no activity and all lights and TV's were off. Suddenly, i started to rise from the chair and being extremely scared, i floated towards the bed and slowly back into my body, and then when i was finally in the bed, i felt heavy, and got extremely scared cause my grandmother (the person i was sleeping with) was looking at me with a very disturbed look on her face. That was a rly creepy night...

I tried astral projection once. I laid in my bed and tried to detach my spiritual body from my physical body. I had a weird feeling in the back of my head and my whole body started to shake. I could feel some kind of energy trying to leave my body, but sadly i could not detach my spirit. Its not as easy as it sounds. I guess i leave my body when i dream of flying and i have these often bu t the only parts i really remeber is when im falling then i wake up emedietly.

2 years ago, lying in the middle of a field at night, watching the stars, suddenly felt the entire hugeness of the sky and the earth all around me, and my body felt incredibly light, and as if i was fizzing, and i felt almost like I was flying up towards the stars. It lasted at least 20 seconds, and then i felt like I was sinking back into my body, and it felt so heavy and slow again. for the rest of the evening I felt like I'd been drinking, my mind was so high and scattered.
When I look back, it felt as if there was a presence with me, some kind of huge, overwhelming presence watching me.

I've tried astral projection before but it doesn't seem to work for me, but then again when i try i freak out when it might be working for me. Does it count if you have a dream and when you're falling your body shakes when you hit the ground and you wake up?

I have had it happen twice to me and both times it was also a vision of my future. They both happened in a dream state. The first one I had I found myself up on a telephone pole and I looked down to see myself standing on this stoop. When I saw myself, I became connected to myself and was trying to figure out which doorbell to rind, someone inside answered me before I could figure it out. There was a woman with me. A few years later I was helping out a new boss cater a family members brunch, this female coworker and I went to go help out. When we got to the porch and we were trying to figure it out which doorbell to ring, the dream came back to me. I had not known these people when I had the dream.
The second time again I was up in a tree I saw myself running and became connected to myself and drawn in, but every few steps, I started to feel a pull like I was going to fly up into the trees again. I struggled back down and stayed for a few more bounces and then left. Again a few years later I was hanging out with some friends, we were at another one of their friend's homes and I have never been there before, but I had a feeling of deja vu. Well we started joking around and the one guy started to chase me. I stumbled a few times as he chased me. That is when the dream came back to me and each spot that I stumbled was a spot where I felt I was flying out of body. The first one stuck with me because it was the first time I ever had anything like that happen to me. I would swear that if I was up on that telephone pole it would look the same as what I saw. The second one wasn't as vivid because it took place at night.
