I can recommend www.Jazeeraairways.com - they go from and to Dubai directly. Using Air Arabia will take you to Sharjah which might cause even more trouble getting to Dubai city. It heavily depends on the time of your arrival in Sharjah but anything between 6am and 8pm tends to be a nightmare unless you really know your way around.
As always with low-cost carriers, you are advised to book early and have flixible dates. This will allow you to travel for as little as 300 AED return.
