I really like this guy but i don't know where he stands about dating a black girl. He's a good man& we have alot of fun with our mutual friends. My best friend is dating an Irish guy & i often go with her to parties, thats how i met him.He is really cute, tall& educated.I'm just crazy about him.I want him.I think he kind of knows i like him.2 weeks ago he & I talked about interracial dating. He said"I ve never dated outside my race".I asked him if you would, he laughed & said "if it was you yes" BUT then followed that with "No i'm just kidding, i never really think of things that will NEVER happen".Last weekend we all went out,he came with a white girl.He felt the need to explain who the girl was.He said it was his workmate, but i think she likes him too.So i decided to leave them alone, instead he kept on holding my hand & whispering in my ear.He kissed my neck, hugging tight & pressing on me so i could feel his Pensis.he is sending me mixed signal. What do you think? should i make the move

it's not that i want something serious though i would mind being a serious relationship with. He is just a great guy. He is so HOT yet very down to earth. I don't know if he is scared of interacial relationship or he is waiting for me. I do not know how white people go about with their courtship. in see that his face lights up when he sees me..everything about him is making me want him. i love the way he smells and the way he looks at me. i never found blue eyes cute but i love his blue.

I had a black girl ask me (the white guy) out on a date about seven years ago. We had a great time.
In fact, I'm leaving to pick her up from work in a few minutes and we are celebrating our fifth year anniversary in four months.

You asked this guy where he stood on dating outside of his race, and he basically told you "No."
OK; let's remove race from the equation and see where you are. You went out, and he brought another girl. He disrespected the other girl by holding your hand and whispering in your ear. He hugged you and rubbed himself up against you...all while he had a date. So, basically he's a jerk...regardless of his race or yours. If you were the woman he brought to this outing, would you have been cool with this- whether or not you were workmates? He is aware of your interest, but all he's doing is being a tease.
Find someone you like, who likes you and who respects you. He could be plain, paper or plastic...but he has to be real and honorable with you. My husband is white, but I would have married a man of any background that treats me the way my husband does. His "whiteness" is a minuscule part of the man he is.
Focus on the quality of the man first; packaging is just that...PACKAGING!

Just picking up on cues from your well detailed question I don't think it's going to happen. He seems kind of intrigued but overall probably wouldn't follow through with it, or if he did it would be more for curiousity than for a real relationship.
The cues/signs are: he knows your interested and hasn't asked you out yet, jokes about the idea of interracial dating (this isn't really something good honest people tend to joke about). I think the clincher is that he brought another girl - most likely to show that he'd fool around with you, but that's it.
Go find someone decent instead who knows what they want.

Baby girl. I am white, and I date exclusively blk men. I have dated a couple that have never dated outside their race before. When I asked them why they dated me then they said that it is because I didn't make an issue out of them being blk and me being white. I have a theory. If you don't make an issue out of something then most people won't either. So if you do not make an issue of the fact that you are black then chances they will not either. Hey, and if they do, then you didn't need to be with them anyways. Feel me?

I don't know why you want to attract men outside your race and culture. Too me that sounds a bit racist. But like me I don't care what a female race is or culture, I just happen to like all female, as long as they let me play with them.

I say go for it. Since it would be the first time to be in an interracial relationship he may feel a little awkward. Go with it, but take it slow. This is a step in an unfamiliar territory for him, so be careful not to overwhelm him.
Lots of Luck!!!!

It seems, reading what you wrote, both about yourself and your friend, the race is a big issue. You said, you want someone outside of your race. He commented, he wouldn't date someone outside of race. (that's what he basically said) I suggest you don't make the move or accept his move.
It would be naive to say race won't matter, because it does in many social situations. But, if someone truly care about someone else, race issue wouldn't even come up BETWEEN two of them, at least until the very late stage where they will be planning a family, and usually in the context of their off springs.

I'm not sure but I think he may want to be with you but is afraid. To find out what he is afraid of you will need to talk to him. Try to meet with him in private and just come out and ask. I have found that the direct approach seems to work better. Good luck.

it's obvious the guy wants you. But do not make a move..let him make the move..that way your first night will be explosive..i think you have this man already. he may be a little scared to interacial dating but he will date you for sure..the man is all yours..

Normally it shouldnt be a big deal. But with this guy its sounds like he would like to but something is holding him back. He might get with you and enjoy it but want to keep it a secret do to what others may think. Just be careful.
