I know life can seem meaningless, but even if the only point of life, is making more life; isn’t that enough?
Worst case, it’s like sports. I mean really, is it possible to get any more meaningless than a bunch of grown men running around a playing area chasing a ball? And yet, people pay money just to watch.
Because it’s just sooo much fun.
It's a simple choice. You can sit around getting depressed,
OR
You can play with your balls.
Personally, I’d rather lose, then be left out of the game.

Probably not everything. Life is what you make it. If you're approaching the future with an attitude that everything in life is meaningless, you're in for a rough time. On the other hand, if you look around you with a positive attitude and try to find beauty and meaning in the world, you will find it.

Life is only meaningless when we chose to give up hope for better days and to fight to ensure what we do has a positive purpose. It is very important that we not be swayed but those who seek to do us harm and protect others from making the same costly mistakes we made have made in the past. If we can do this, then life will be more meaningful than we could ever know.

We make the events and people in our lives meaningful. Whether things are inherently meaningful is unknown. I do not even know if it can be proven. It's like the way we would probably never know the entire universe. Does it really matter whether life is truly meaningful or meaningless? Make your own values and make your life meaningful through them with the information you currently have. Seek more knowledge to get closer to the "truth" if you want. That's all I can say.

Nothing has intrinsic meaning. On that level, yes, life's a meaningless void. It's incumbent on you to find a way to make something meaningful to yourself. Good luck.

Only if you have no attachments, no family, no legacy -- even then you have to wonder about the effect your life and actions may have on others.
I, too, sometimes wonder if anything I do makes a difference. Can I trace a meaning to the actions of a middle-class person of, say, 300 years ago -- no, not likely. However, if they passed on a personal legacy of kindness or meanness, then maybe there is a legacy.
I guess I am hoping that my children will add to the kindness factor with my influence and encouragement.
