In my opinion? One of the finest works of literature ever created. In some other people's opinions? A pointless, annoying waste of time. Read it if you like to read between the lines (no pun intended) and search for hidden meaning, allegory, symbolism, etc.... Don't read it if you enjoy formal, conventional literature. If you're on the fence, go for it--its very, very short and should be available at every bookstore and library in America. (I'm not sure about other English-speaking countries.)

It is one of the best books you'll ever read. Particularly appropriate for older teens. It's always in print and available in any book store. Naturally, you want to purchase a fresh copy out of respect to a great living author. ;-)

Fantastic book. Mirrors the thoughts and emotions of "a lost teen" meticulously. It truly is a work of art. Any library or book store should carry it.

It's a classic and ask your library. Classics's don't become classics by being crappy books, they become classics for being really good. I read it in Korea and liked it a lot.
