I have been thinking about future careers and film/ tv production was one of my choice fields, but I'd really like to know if it's for me. What does one of these people really do? I have a rough idea, but I'm not for sure... I really like to film , edit, and act in movies that me and my friends make.
Thanks for the help!

The producer has a couple of functions.

The producer's first job is to package a film project and make it attractive to investors. He or she acquires a script, develops it to as good as her or she thinks it can be, finds a director to make it, possibly one or more name actors to star in it. The producer puts these elements together and hopes that the package will attract a studio or independent investors willing to pay to get it made into a movie.

Once the film is in production, the producer is the liaison between the studio and the director. The producer manages the administrative functions that keeps the film on schedule and on budget, and works to resolve any issues that may arise to slow down the production.

On TV, the producer is often also the head writer of the show, also known as the showrunner. Here, the producer also has the additional editorial responsibility of ensuring that all episodes are consistent with the tone, theme, and continuity of the show.

I are expecting a pleasant shake-up. Though arguably the Greatest of All Time, the years are caching up with Federer, and he have to be in decline. There also are critical doubts approximately the health of Rafael Nadal. Therefore, I are expecting that the highest 2 will likely be Djokovic and Murray, regardless that now not always in that order. Then there will likely be a gigantic hole. Out of Ferrer, Berdych, Del Potro, Tsonga and Tipsarevic, I reckon 4 will stay within the most sensible ten. Raonic and Nishikori will mostly step up. And I have a sense that a few eighten or nineteen yr ancient child that nobody has heard of can have a breakout yr. Probably a clay courtroom professional - within the absence of Nadal, there is a emptiness. So - Djokovic Murray Ferrer Tsonga Raonic Berdych New Kid at the Block Federer (placing on) Nishikori Tipsarevic
