The man is sitting across the aisle from his wife and he has been unfaithful many times during their marriage. should his wife be subjected to his laughing and talking to this younger woman for the intire trip of 2 1/2 hours? Their son and his wife are also sitting near by. The laughter could be heard almost on the entire plane. I am the wife and am very hurt. Should I be?

You have every right to be hurt, especially since he's ben unfaithful before. I would put my foot down & let him know how you feel about his actions. No man has a right to treat his wife that way. Are you staying with him because of your son, IF you can i tell myself this all he time. TO THINE OWN SELF BE TRUE! The next thing i would do is start a journal & write out all the reason's you are still there,I prayed every day for 6 months for GOD to help me & he did. You deserve better than that. HUGS,
STAR

Yes, you have every right to be hurt. I would personally be mad as heck! My husband travels every thirty days... alone... and I would not mind him talking to someone... but from the way you describe it it was more of a flirt session and this would land him in the dog house. You said he had been unfaithful many times during your marriage...
I might could forgive him once, but not a second time.

Wife is behaving like an enabler - she should have left his sorry butt long ago.

The guy is a creep and a user.

Once the wife wakes up and smells the coffee, worrying about his laughter with another woman will be a distant memory.

Yes, you should be hurt. He should really consider how you may feel in this situation. He must not be thinking of your feelings, and he should think of you FIRST. You are his wife, how RUDE! He may be Innocently flirting, but the fact that he has been unfaithful means that he can't be trusted. You need to really talk to him ( don't nag) tell him how you feel. He needs to know that he hurt you. You have the right to your feelings, and he should try his best to never hurt them. On purpose, at least. Good luck!

It really is disrespectful. My husband loves to chat with everyone but I would draw the line if he had a 2 1/2 hr. happy visit with someone on the plane. Sit together next time and have a little happy chat with him about his behavior.

if he's a known cheated yes you should be hurt also you should have known the 1st time to leave him. Now if he's just a flirt never cheated I'd blow it off men like women often need to know there are still attractive. I'VE FLIRTED knowing I'd never take it anywhere. Flirting and getting attention is a self esteem boast for a lot of people. I left a cheater before my hubby knows no questions ask i would not try to SAVE our relationship if he cheated he knows he divorced me when he took off his pants.

He is a total jerk. I will not and am not in a position to say "leave him", though thats what he deserves. You may be in a position in which you are unable to lead a separate life. Try talking out with him. He should atleast sit with you for sometime. He seems not to have any respect for his family. He is CERTAINLY at fault. You take care of yourself, and meanwhile also find something to raise your esteem.

He is a very insensitive jerk . A husband should know just by the GLEAM in your eyes when enough is enough . If he cared he would have had concern for his son watching him be an idiot . Is he worth it ?
NO !!

yep and i would kindly get up, go over to his seat and bend down to his ear and tell him that he is flirting with this other woman shamelessly, to get his butt up and move right now. Or i would walk over stick my hand out and introduce myself as his wife then bend down and tell him that he is making an *** out of himself by shamefully flirting with that young woman and to get his *** over to my seat while i sit there and chat with the young woman!

you keep giving him rope and he keeps hanging himself. the question is when are you going to wake up and quit granting him amnesty for his trangressions. Once is a mistake, twice is a habit, and three or more times is a blatent disregard for you
