I know myself pretty well by now.... What surprises me is the generosity and kindness shown by strangers. Life throws disappointments at you all the time. Sometimes it gives you a hard shell.
Then someone surprises you and you have to peek outside the shell and smile.

I can't recall a time when I didn't know. Everything that makes me angry is somehow connected to my ex-father, whom my mother divorced after almost 31 years of marriage. He was and still is a waste of human flesh, now married to his 3rd wife. I regret I ever knew him, but that's how life works sometimes.

I know myself very well. I am my own best friend, yet I am my own worst enemy. I knwo what I want, and I go after it. Yes, I have to step back often and ask myself questions, but it helps in future decisions...

No. I really only get mad for a good reason. I'm not hurt that easily either. I realize that people make mistakes and hope someday they might come to their senses and realize how stupid they acted.

I'm pretty certain of why I react the way I do to most situations, so I guess I know myself well.

Yes, I try to step back and think why I feel the way I do.
Then I tell myself why and then I feel justified. (Usually).
