i am trying to install xubuntu in an old laptop computer. it has a cd drive. i was able to install win98 using a win95 boot floppy and typing R:\>setup.exe what do i type to run the xubuntu cd? or do i use a special floppy, if so where can i download it?

i know how to change the cd drive to be first priority in a recent computer. how do i do that in an old computer. it doesn't give me any options at startup

You download the ISO file, burn into a bootable CD, pop in CD drive, start with CD as your first bootable device, and follow the instryctions
