I'm an old fart, but I vote for a small, personal wedding, and same with the reception. Those who are in you immediate family, a close few friends, your best cousin. But I have seen too many large weddings, where people come for the food at the reception. Why spend your money that way, or more so your parents money, to invite three hundred casual acquaintances? Small, you can talk, enjoy the company. Large equals stress, did I forget someone, and then "All these bills". For what, more gifts????

I had a small wedding when I got married. I have been to several, expensive, large weddings with too many people who are just there to go to the reception to get free food and cake. If you truly love each other, a wedding should be a small and simple expression of your love and not an over glorified party!

I want a big wedding, tons of people, lots of dancing, music and food. The big perfect wedding. I think mainly because no one in my family has ever had a wedding. They always go to the court house to get married and I don't want that

Simple...A simple and dainty wedding.....big or small doesnt matter. If you have just a few friends great, or if you have alot of people to invite, that's cool too
But if youre talking about how many people in a wedding party-
More than 5 brides maids is just tacky to me. A woman can have alot of close friends, but not ALL of them are worthy of being a brides maid. If you have a butt load of them...it takes away from the importance of the others that you hold dear to your heart

If I get married it will be a small wedding because I don't like alot of attention and I would just rather have a small, intimate ceremony that doesn't cost a fortune.

Iono.....small wedding makes you look poor, because you can't afford to feed alot of people, and with large weddings, everyone is staring at you like you're a freak.
