and there were lots of people around, would you quickly go to that person's aide or expect someone else to do something?

That is a good question, although most people will just stand to see if someone else is going to do something first. If I see that no one is helping, then I would rush in. If someone else is tending to that person, then I give space and wait if that person needs assistance.

I think that I would actually help them. Like if they were having a heart attack, got hit by a car or something I would definitely help them out. Like I am not the type of person who helps people but if it was serious i would help.

for sure.....that actually happened once...i got off this bus and right at the bus stop this woman has a heart attack and falls flat on the ground. there were a lot of ppl around, it was one of those moments where everyone wants to help but they're so stunned by the situation that they dont know what to do.....so i went to try and pick her up and turn her over cuz her face was in the mud....i decided that turning her over was the best thing to do at the time to check if she was still breathing...or to perform cpr etc. as soon as i stepped in....everyone else came and helped me...and by the time we picked her up, turned her over, checked her pulse and everything...the ambulance and police came and told us to clear out.

If I felt I wanted to help I would. Without expecting someone else to.

Yes I would & not only that, I would ask people around to lend a helping hand too. Sometimes, it need one person to make the first move. Done it before.

I would go help. Too many people tend to just stand around and wait for someone else to act.

If I didn't have to put myself at risk much, like running into a burning building or something like that, I would definitely help out, but I don't think I would risk my life for a stranger.

it sort of depends i guess, i once saw this chick convulse on the street when i was in new york, but there were so many people rushing over there, and i would have been no help, and my friend who is a nurse ran over. but it no one seemed to be going for it, heck yes i would, i think it just depends on the situation.
