Jock itch? Its a fungal infection. There are a lot of OTC fungal creams you can get.

You must be the only father in the world who doesn't know about jock itch. Hard to believe. However, the product you need is an antifungal cream, sold specifically to treat athlete's foot or jock itch. This can be purchased at any drug store, or pharmacy, in places like the grocery store or Wal-marts. Get a tube and follow the directions. Until the itch is under control, wear boxer shorts and go commando at night so you get air flow through there. Use a nice clean washcloth and wash there last, then dry very well and apply the cream. In the future, use a medicated body powder or even an antifungal powder to avoid getting it again. Kept things clean and dry, and they won't grow anything. If it doesn't improve with the cream, then a trip to the doctor may be necessary. But most usually, the anti-fungal creams work fine.

You have jock itch. I'm guess you're a teenager talking about yourself, because what dad says privates? A dad should be mature enough to say my son's testicles or balls itch. Also you probably wouldn't know what jock itch is because you're a kid. I also looked at your other questions which talked about school, myspace, and report cards, which concludes my decision about you being a teenager. You didn't have to pretend to talk about your 'son', you could have just asked the question about yourself, but what ever. But yeah it's jock itch. You need a cream.

Get him that talcum powder that comes in a brown can...kind of spicy smelling. Are you talking about JOCK ITCH? There is an ointment for it...can't remember the name...but you can ask the pharmacist. He/she's heard it all.
Good luck.

jock itch.... it happens when you don't clean your self well and bacteria and fungus start to grow down there.... goto your local drug store and get some creme or spray for it... some really active people have to shower 2 times a day to stop it from growing.

and when you do buy it, you get what you pay for...
