yes, it was true. chinese people did eat babies, or fetuses. but that was a long time ago. modern days, nobody does that no more. but i dont think they woudl sell them off the street corners just like that back then. more likely selll them on the downlow, common sense not to get caught.
also, you cant go online and say chinese people also eat dogs and cats, vietnamese people do. but think about it. if your house was destroyed by the planes dropping bombs in the area where your home use to be, during the vietnam war, and you had no food at all, and you was hungry, and there was a dog or a cat that comes by, what would you do? and dont be a jerk and tell me you would rather starve to death either.
for those of you who still think this is nasty, i wish you would just get stuck on a stranded island with no food or any type of animals on there but a few dogs and some cats. and then come back onto yahoo answers and leave an answer of why my parents ate what they had to, to survive.

I've heard this b4 but it's just a rumor/urban legend. I seen a show on it once a long time ago it investigated it & came out w/ nothing!

Yes its true...but its not sold in corner markets its almost just as taboo as it would be here but its done in Japan.
