Cause its the internet. I was walking to a yahoo employee on a forum and they said that yahoo was aware of this problem and worked to reduce it.
Guess it's what you know about other people. Normally when you see a stranger you get a whole raft of context and information about them; from where you see them, to what they're doing, to how they're dressed, to how they look, to their age/sex/race, you can tell loads about them. Ordinary etiquette and standards tell you roughly how to behave to the old Jewish grandma or the hairgelled young businessman.
On the net, you don't know anything about a person except what they've written. Therefore its very easy to stereotype. The guy who wrote something stupid isn't a human being, he has no family, friends, job, or other interests, all he is is a mouthpeice of the silly opinion he is spouting. Therefore he needs flaming. That's basically the mentality (I've done it myself before, and I'm not proud).
Well there's always people like you to turn the tide. Thanks man. I love you too.

I think they just get a thrill out of putting people down but i really dont know but please in the future do refrain from wasting my time with these idiotic questions. I swear that I am ashamed to call you my brother and the only reason i talk to you is because we share the same dog of a person that we call mother. I absolutely hate you!
