uncertainty,
fear,
anger,
sadness,
building up in this little girl,
tears streaming down her face,
afraid to move from her little corner,
unsure of what is going on,
just knowing it isn't right,
praying for it to end.

I like it a lot. It makes you depressed, and is direct. Its not over done, and I like reading it. Awesome!!!

Sorry you feel so terrible. I don't want to make you feel worse, but this isn't a poem. It's a series of complaints in verse form. Get out of the corner and do something, anything. Take a walk, watch a sunset. watch TV, call a friend, read a book, do your hair. By calling yourself a "little girl," you project the self-image of a fearful child. Everyone has moments of uncertainty. If you need to know "what is going on," ASK the people involved. Just don't sit around feeling sorry for yourself. We live in a tough world and sitting in a corner crying about something you don't understand isn't going to help you.

its sad, but true many people find themselves in the same position. i agree that poetry does include a form of beautiful words but how are you to feel what the poem is describing as heartache and misery, struggle and lonliness if you use sunshine and daisy kind of words?!
what ever you feeling sweetie use to better yourself. you off to a great start.

I suspect she does not know how to resolve her dilemma. I think this is an excellent portrayal of the confusion and anxiety of a child watching violence unfold in front of her.

It is not great, but it is the foundation for better work. Poetry uses not just feeling but the beauty of words. You are on the right track, keep going, no matter what anyone says.
