My nails are not short but they are not long they are happily in between at the just right length for me! A happy medium....

I have short ones because I pick and bite them, I would like them to be a middle length, not too long.

It seriousl depends. If someone has long fingernails and they're dirty, nasty and disgusting, I cringe. But if someone has beautiful long fingernails, then they're good.
Otherwise, short.
