why do i keep gettting disconnected i have a linksys rounter and was wondering should i setup my rounter for connect on demand or keep alive?

Router BAD? thats my guess I have a LINKSYS and That went bad doing the same thing! a replacemnt work great! in fact it still works till this day bet you cant guess how long Ive had it? about 10 years+

Also Dont turn your switch/setup from Keep alive! on demand is for Uplinks I believe! you dont want that!

Keep alive... will keep you connected all the time, on demand will connect only when you open a browser or make an internet request. Use Keep Alive with most DSL and CABLE connecitons.

"connect on demand" connects your computer only when you need it.
"keep alive" constantly sends out packets to keep you connected to the network.
