I have noticed throughout this whole debate that many of you make constant overtures about being intelligent. From looking around the questions and responses on this board, that really is not the impression that I am getting.

If someone asks a reasoned question you respond with the same sort of diatribe time and time again without actually answering the question. [ this is when you are not f'ing and blinding].

Then you get certain individuals who you can almost visualise are exploding in rage behind their computer screens when they see a question they do not like...

So how have you reached the conclusion that you are intellectually gifted??
I, for one, have seen nothing yet to indicate that there is any intelligence amongst your camp...

I HAVE DELETED THE PREVIOUS QUESTION AS THERE WAS TOO MUCH NONSENSE BEING WRITTEN BY AGITATORS AND IT WAS TAKING UP PRECIOUS TYPING SPACE WITH ME HAVING TO ANSWER THEM!!

Allen B - Actually two people were talking c*** during the last question I deleted, the rest were perfectly fine. I already gave the reason above as to why I deleted the question.. if you cannot read go for literacy classes!!!

A note to many of the others posters.. I seriously suggest that you read the question . Was this question about the McCanns or the lack of intelligence on the part of McCann supporters...??? My worst fears are being confirmed with each and every response [ with the exception of a few ! ].

Actually I shall re-phrase the previous point.... a good example of this lack of intelligence is Allen B's response.. it is quite simply bizarre....

"technocase" and your point is what precisely.. ?? Would you like me to engage in self-flagellation for something which was not my fault? Shall I join a monastery and stop going on websites ever again.?? For you to assert "Do not forget that a child is missing" is a ridiculous statement.
Would you like for me to say to you "Do not forget there are thousands of children missing???"

Yes, you were right to question the whole circus that has sprung up around this . I agree that the subject is a bit taboo, but a reasoned debate is surely allowed, or are we not allowed to comment on anything ?Now rufustfirefly :Be very careful about accusing me of things that you allude to in your diatribe. You will find yourself in deep water, and you have been reported for your comments, which are deeply offensive.
This questioner is perfectly entitled to ask his question,(without your slurs and epiphets), and if you last long enough you may gain the experience and knowledge to be able to debate with the grown-ups.

I remain opposed to making judgemental and sometimes nasty comments about the McCanns on the basis that I feel it's best to wait for ALL the facts to emerge.
The constant posting of questions regards the Parents, along with the constant insults and speculation about their guilt and is it all part of some grand master plan hatched by them in the pursuit of fame and fortune plays what part in helping to ensure the safe return of the missing Child ?
I have never claimed to be intelligent, but i fail to see how jumping to conclusions, making sick comments and sometimes even jokes about the parents and the missing child makes others more intelligent I will never know.
But i guess you studying psychology will give you a greater insight into this, and no doubt you will also have an opinion into my psychological state.
Not that I am either interested or impressed.
Lastly I get a real sense of someone red faced and bashing away at their keyboard, I only have to read the responses you have made to some of the answers posted to your question to see you are not really in control are you?
Maybe you need to see a Psychologist /

I'm on the anti McCann side but I think that it's good to have different perspectives in life. If everyone just agreed on the subject then there would be no discussion to be had. I think that it's important to always keep an open mind and take into consideration the other persons point of view, even if it is, to you, invalid. There isn't a black and white in life but we all put topics into two categories. Are the McCanns good people or evil people? I would go with inconsiderate and stupid, but that is just my opinion and I give everyone the right to disagree. I wouldn't call the McCann supporters unintelligent as maybe they have assessed the situation better than me and are right (and calling them stupid may backfire and make me look stupid at a later date). You will have to wait and see what happens to find out who is right or wrong.

How many more nut cases keep accusing the McCanns with "evidence" which is not accepted as evidence by police , lawyers or anybody else. McCann haters are internet wackos

I totally agree. There are people on here who have constantly abused people for not supporting the mccanns, and told us that we dont have an intelligent arguement, when they are the ones that continually threaten and abuse people for having a different opinion.

There is one that calls us the 'anti mccann mob', asking questions about this has stopped him asking questions about what we are going to do 'when islam takes over Britain' or 'Why does the British public believe the lies about the BNP'. Yes and according to him we are the ones that are totally ignorant and intolerant!!

Hi. I thoroughly agree that abuse is no way to get any point across, if anything it detracts from the point one is trying to make.

With all due respect, you are ranting yourself. I would not lower myself to the level of slating a diverse group of people. Someone's opinion does not necessarily reflect their intelligence, and while many people on Yahoo Answers may get overly emotional on this subject, they do not speak for everybody who shares some (or all) of their views- it's just not as cut and dry as that. Some see intelligence where they wish to and then behave like hypocrites by demonstrating the exact thing they are complaining about.

Personally, I think anyone who hurls abuse at others instead of offering their views sensibly is behaving like a fool, regardless of what they do or don't believe.

No doubt I'll get slated here for talking basic common sense, by people WRONGLY assuming that I am what they would call a "supporter". I cannot bring myself to crow over people who are experiencing the most hideous loss I can imagine, but that does not mean I approve of what they did. Why any of us seem to think that our opinions are so important on this subject when they have nothing to do with the case whatsoever, I will never know.

Dear me me me!
Firstly, i don't think anyone "supports" the McCanns in leaving their babies alone. Only the abductor would. I, personally, don't support them, I sympathise with them knowing fully well they have made a terrible decision for which their Maddie is paying the terrible price. There are quite a few posts on here who think the same way with absolutely no usage of profanity so the repeated accusations irk me. Just 'cos we don't tear them to pieces, doesn't mean we "support" them. And you must know that a few of the anti-McCann pack are pretty acidic in their attacks as well. Try to be objective please. You seem really upset...

Perhaps some people are point scoring or just find it funny to wind others up and get a kick out of it.

This question looks like its one of the latter ones!

Intellectually gifted, where are you coming from?

The majority of people have answered questions about the McCanns from their own parental knowledge without being over derogatory toward them.

I feel nothing for the Mccanns. My thoughts are with little Madeleine. The poor girl was left by her parents and took by god knows who and its horrible to think of what might of happened to her. I just hope that she is alive and unharmed.

I don't think that some of them support the McCanns at all. It is just an excuse for them to spill their bile and their spleen against a world that has not rewarded them for their perceived superiority. They don't even know the meaning of jealousy and envy. I, personally, have never had a wish to speak with a really harsh Glaswegian accent, nor have I ever had a wish to lose a child. Shurely shome mistake.
