I think they will win in 3-8 years when Calvin Johnson and Roy Williams get going with each other and drew staton turns into a franchise quarterback.When they get a good offensive line and a couple of good defensive guys they will win. If their defense holds up they might I said might make the playoffs because i seriously think that not even the best defense in the NFC will be able to stop Calvin Johnson and Roy Williams.The only trick is will Calvin and Roy stay on the same team because both have the potential to be number 1 receivers.In a couple of years Roy Williams contract runs up.but I hope he stays because they will have a good raining era when they are together.But we did get to descent running backs in Tatum Bell and tg duckett .Ernie Sims will be a Lion his whole life because he will be a good francise player.overall i think in a couple of years they will be at the one of top of the NFC.

I think they can but it will obviously take time. I wanted the Raiders to do excatly what they did in taking Calvin in the 1st round and Drew Stanton in the Second. They got Tatum Bell this year which will help but he wont be the "perfect" RB for a future outlook that the lions are trying to go for. I think that all they need to do is wait for some of those horrible 1st round WR's contracts to go up and just not resighn them to help with the salary cap. they already got rid of mike williams witch was a good thing. it will take time for those young guys to mature into great players...but with D-Fense help, they will become a great team.
This Year they go 7-9

The Lions need to ........ who knows? This team needs a change of scenery. Getting rid of Millen would be a start. They could have Lexus as the owner it would not matter. In my opion Payton could not get this team on a winning side.
