No doubt in my mind, Bach, a lot of his music has been transcribed for guitar my instrument, and I just love the way it works for guitar. Since the moment I heard his works I was in love and still am to this day. Can you imagine three hundred years from now any composers from today as popular as he is. Well maybe John Williams, JAWS, ET, SCHINDLERS' LIST, STAR WARS, HOOK, HARRY POTTER, SUPERMAN. His music is a work of genius as was Bach's.

Mostly Beethoven and Mozart, but for current I like Jon Oliva, Paul O'Neil and Robert Kinkel from the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. :)

There are so many good choices, but if I could choose only ONE, I would choose Mahler. Every time I listen to his symphonies I discover themes and nuances that I hadn't heard before. The man was a troubled genius, in my opinion.
