I have an educated Midwestern American accent-the modern day broadcast standard. The journalists come here to learn how to speak.

The Scots accent is definitely my favorite.

I asked a very similar question some time ago & got some very interesting answers.
Less geddit right 'ere. You mighta bin born in London darlin' but that, onnis own, don't qualify you as a cockney.
And you know it!

Only teasing, sweet'art.
I love all sorts of accents. Some of them can be quite seductive, if you think about it, which is probably why English accents go down very well in the US & vice versa.
All the best guv.
We'll leave the rhyming slang for anuvver time. (innit)

I'm from the east coast of Canada so I have an accent. It's a little bit hard to explain and it's not forcibly strong. Central Canadians think it sounds either British or from New England(nowhere close) I also speak frenchas a second language and seem to have a little accent there too.
I love Spanish accents!

I've got a regular London accent. I don't think it sounds particularly cockney though.

I like some Scottish and Irish accents, but not too broad - a nice, soft accent.

I'm from Leeds in West Yorkshire. I don't have a Yorkshire accent but I think I may have a "North Leeds" accent - it's often difficult to discern your own accent - an outsider would notice it more. I like SOFT Irish or Scottish accents but I'm a real sucker for foreign accents, particularly Italian.

I'm from the States - Midwest, so I don't believe I have a particular "accent." I do love to listen to English people speak, however, I'm not familiar with the different accents.

I have a Mid-west accent that to others sounds West Virginia. And I love an Irish accent.
