Depends on his offensive line. Houston's biggest weakness since day 1 has been their offensive line, a weakness they never really addressed in the draft. Had he been given a decent line, Carr would likely still be wearing a Texans uniform.

NO, He will not be the next D. Carr, Oakland has had problems with there offensive line but alot of it has to do with a bad scheme and bad coaching, 7 and 9 steps drops dont work in the NFL and most of those sacks came off long drop backs were the O-line has to maintain blocks alot longer then usual, they are compeltely switching schemes and will be much improved upfront, J. Russell will be the next Jon Elway, thats right Jon friggin' Elway, He has al lthe tolls to be amazing and will be the guy credited with the tur naround of the greatest organization in the NFL.

If you mean a QB with potential playing behind a HORRIBLE offensive line so everyone says he sucks, then yes, he will. Schaub will be AWFUL this year and people will say he's a bust...but that line in Houston is just as bad as the line in Oakland....I feel bad for QBs in those situations...they take all the blame...

Jamarcus Russell is Byron Leftwich with athleticism...He is not going to be great this upcoming year, but will get better with more experience...He's a project.
