I was asking the same question a little while ago. I think that a lot of people are judgemental due to: a)immaturity; b) their own insecurity; c) lack of empathy towards other people; d) they have same flaws, but it makes them feel better if they point their fingers at others. But for whatever reason - f...k them.

Unfortunately, our constitution gives people the right to free speech, including on here, and suddenly everyone is an expert. Majority dont have any business answering most questions on here, but God gave them a brain but somewhere they lost the common sense that goes with it. Probably most speak from experience but cant explain why or what to tell others to do. What they dont realize is everyone is different and what happened in their life is not the same as another and everyones problem must be addressed seperately. The best thing here is no matter how many answers one gets to their question they always have the right to ignore the ones they dont like

I don't know about the others here, but I try not to be judgmental, because I don't want people judging me when I ask a question. I try to answer as truthful as I can, not just say what I think you want to hear.

I think that they are both. Judgmental to see who is weaker than them and then they hide their flaws by pointing out what they observed. Some people feel better when they can cut someone else down.

Yes, people in answers are very judgmental, I try my best not to judge individuals on their behavior, religious belief, age and etc. I believe many people are just trying to get to level 7 quickly and are not that concern about the per cent of questions they answer that are chosen as best answer.
I find may comments offense, rude, crude, and immature.

People come here for opinions and some for judgment of an issue. OF COURSE people will be judgmental here!
Would a person go to a bar and expect to NOT drink alcohol?

I think that if a person comes on here and puts their dirty laundry out there and asks questions as to "what we think". They have opened the door for the answers they get.
What are you trying to say we do???
Encourage selfish behavior, immoral action, hurtful attempts, deceitful behavior???
I for one am calling them like I see them. I might not get 5 stars for "best answer" because it isn't what the Asker wanted me to say.. but in the end.. I can honestly say that I was honest with MY answer.

I think most of the advise you get here is worth what you paid for it.
Some people are just after the points.
Some people answer according to the image they want others to see.
Some people shoot off the hip for fun.
My rule of thumb is if its a serious question don't ask strangers. Talk to people that have a vest interest in your well being.

i think people are very judgmental here. but, it's "Answers" so everyone thinks differently...
it's amazing to see all the different thoughts around one question.
more amazing...is the utter ignorance of some people...thinking that counseling is the end all be all...and that is simply not true.

Crooks can run for office and crooks can vote in an election.
Providing an answer has nothing to with a person's own flaws. After all, even marriage counsellors and even church ministers divorce.
