Yes he was an evil man....but doesn't everyone deserve a second chance? I'm not sure what I believe the right thing to do in this situation was. If it was your family being tortured or your daughter being raped by him, you would probably go balistic and want him dead? What is your opinion?

He should not have been killed in such a ancient method as hanging. I think he would have suffered more if he had time to reflect on his past crimes against humanity in a maximum security jail. He would have lost his freedom and would be reminded everyday of the things he did to get there. He should have died in jail due to a life sentence without possibility of parole.

there are a number of reasons that folk might evaluate Sadam's execution "good", yet i visit in common terms point out 2. i've got faith the reason maximum folk might say it replaced into "good" replaced into the will for justice. No society has ever existed that did no longer call for justice in some way for extremely extreme crimes. He replaced into discovered in charge and sentenced to death. Muslim societies many times help a death sentence for heinous crimes, so arguing that Sadam could have been given another punishment as properly death isn't useful. yet another excuse that the execution replaced into good has to do with politics. Now that Sadam is ineffective, the question of guilit is overwith. the form wherein Sadam died created new political themes, however the actuality continues to be a financial ruin interior the political historic previous of Iraq is closed and now something extra effective, possibly, can take the area of his evil regime. i'm hoping this helps you alongside with your paper. good luck.

Yes I likely would but I am prolife also and wow sure would be a tough situation to deal with considering my beliefs. Could he have just been locked up securly forever? I doubt it because as soon as our troops are prematurely pulled out of Iraq his allys Al qaeda would take over and get him out. And for anyone that wants to challenge that Al Qaeda has nothing to do with Iraq do a little research for goodness sakes. I read articles just an hour ago that stated Saddam was an Ally of the Al Qaeda leader in Iraq. This is a tough question for me to answer myself. I also believe Saddam is not resting comfortably in Heaven and will suffer for eternity. He is getting due punishment for his crimes. My beliefs and I dont expect anyone to believe what I do..Just my honest opinion and it would be a boring world if we all had the same opinion wouldnt it?

He does not deserve a second chance after the things that he has done in his life! I'm glad he is gone and the world is better for it! There are a few more out there that need the same thing too!

Honestly, there are some people that should be given second chances, but Sadam has had many! I'm sorry to say but I think it was the right thing to do, he would've still contacted "outside people" to do his evil biddings. It would be like if Hitler was alive, would you give him a 2nd chance? HELL NO!

I am not sure what you mean by "second chance." He had international organizations and countries calling on him for years to stop the atrocities. He defiantly ignored them and he knew what the consequences were. It is not like we are talking about a "naughty boy." He was a monster, responsible for horrible crimes against humanity.

You don't give a man like Hussein another chance, he already had several and he only got worse.

Yes, it was right. No, there is no inherent right to a so-called second chance. Are you nuts?

No, he should have had to suffer under tight, tight security. It is not our place to punish people. Judgment is not for us. It is the Lord's place. He deals with what we choose to do with our lives. So, I say, let the Lord deal with him.
