How do you plug it into a computer and where is the usb outlet? if their is one how do you open it?

The new shuffles do not have a USB port. You have to plug the shuffle into a "dock", and then the dock plugs into the USB port on your computer. It should come included with the shuffle.
If you lost the dock (or don't have it, for whatever reason), there are several places to buy a replacement:

Read the instructions. It usually comes with a USB cable. If it doesn't, then go back to the store you got it from and buy an iPod USB port.
In my opinion, you should've gotten a Sansa; they're way better than the iPod Shuffle.
