well I was in a similar situation and I left. Well actually we both choose to go our seperate ways, she brought it up though and I felt compelled to say my mind-turns out we both weren't happy and ..as the song goes..the thrill was gone.

I'm very much happy now and have met the person I feel personally I was meant to be with. I don't believe in destiny but I feel that's what my wife and I have.

breaking up with the ex was the best thing i've ever done.

leaving obviously wasn't easy-but the joy I now have has easily helped me forget the bad times. I wouldn't trade my experience for nothing.

You would not be fair to yourself or him if you stay in this relationship particularly if it's just to keep you from being alone. If you are not meant for each other, it's best to end it now so both of you can proceed on with your life. I would rather be alone than to be with the wrong person in a relationship. I am thankful after being alone for years to have found the love of my life and the woman I'm meant to be with forever and if you want to find true love, it certainly has to be with the right one for you.

If you are unsure and think he is not the one -\
-by all means leave !!!!!
Don't make the mistake I did and marry someone so totally wrong for you , have 2 kids and wait many years to finally get up enough guts to leave.
In my case it ended happily because I have finally met my true love and will be with him soon. He makes me happier than I have ever been and he has shown me what a true and real love is all about.
So if you have doubts --get out before you waste too many years with the wrong one. And if maybe later he turns out to be the right one --- you will be led back to him.
Good Luck !!

You probably will stay for a while, because your love is stronger than pride although, you know, you will suffer enormously staying "put". I want to say, you will be the only one, judging your actions in the "game of love". You know what is right, but if you stay, there is nothing wrong with you . Take the time you need and be prepared, to anything. Good luck!
