I went with my fiance to get her ultra-sound yesterday. Today we were both at work and the doctor's assistant called and said to call back "...at her convenience." Should I be worried that something's wrong? Please give me some advice. Thanks.

It is probably related to her pap smear or something like that. The ultrasound is read on the spot, so if the doctor saw something wrong, he would have said something then. It could be something as simple as needing her to complete some lab work or maybe they found something in her pap smear (which could be serious or not). Just have her call back before you both have a heart attack! :-)

do no longer hear on your companion's father (i do no longer advise ever, I in basic terms advise to that end!!) - this is an previous wive's tale!!! i'm 32 weeks now, and that i'm with ease having a woman, they advised me at my 20 weeks test, and that i've got had scans each and every 2 weeks after that because of the fact of a severe threat being pregnant, each and every person confirming that my infant is woman! i'm donning very low, and that i've got from the beginning up! once I had my boy, 5 years in the past, I carried severe, and my abdomen grow to be somewhat pointy, that's supposedly a demonstration of a woman!! definite, they are able to be incorrect, yet those days, docs tend to purely inform you the intercourse of your infant in the event that they are very helpful! there have been too many lawsuits over it to take risks! there is often an rather small threat they are incorrect, yet i could have faith them and pass forward and get some frilly pink clothing!! Congrats!! :-)

They often call to make an appointment to go over the results. Dont worry untill you have been told you have something to worry about.

Plus if there was something to worry about they would have called her and advised her to go to labor and delivery to see the doctor there. Or sent her to the ER

No. If there were a serious concern, they would ask her to call back asap. My guess is that they were calling to say either that everything is fine, or that they may have to redo a portion because something was missed or blurry.

No. Don't freak out until you know for sure there is a reason to be alarmed. It could be anything really. Rescheduling of an appt to telling her to drink more water. Hang in there.

I am sure that if it was an emergency they would have said to call back right away or come straight into the office.

It depends on who did the ultrasound? a sonogram tech or the doctor? If the doctor did it, then she/he would have told you something during the sonogram. If a sonogram tech did it, they might be following up with you.

No, don't worry. Just call her back, chances are she just wanted to tell you everything was ok, rather than leave a message.

If he wants to see her "at her convenience" then I can't imagine there is any problems, if there was then I'm sure he would have mentioned there and then!

If it was a major concern, they would not be saying "at her convenience". They'd be saying right now. It'll be cool.
