I met my husband thru a mutual friend many years ago... I thought her and i were almost best friends.... Well, while he and i were dating i ended up getting into a little trouble and had to go away for a little while...My so called best friend, stepped in and took my place, hooked up with him. I cannot stand her and she still tries to talk to him like nothing happened but wont bother to speak to me....
He doesnt really reply back, Should i confront her?

My advice? The MORE you stir manure, the worse it stinks. Leave it alone!

Were you married when you went away? It is more his fault than hers. If you got over this event with him then you should as well with her. He is more so the one that done you wrong than her. Not that this makes it any better but at least you know where he had been while you were gone. If you can get past this you will get on back to being friends. To break the ice is the difficult part.

It's interesting how people are always so angry with the "other" person instead of the spouse who betrayed them. Don't bother with her; she's nothing. Not even worth your time. Your problem lies with your husband. He cheated on you and is equally at fault.

if neither of them are talking - how are you sure it happened? If you are - would it make you feel better to talk to her? Why are you not mad at your husband - it takes two to tango? Truth to you - what do you need to do for you. I would recommend you decide whether you want to work it out with one or both of them before talking with either. Know what you want before going into a conversation - if you decide to. Good luck

Why? You know what she did, it's not going to change anything. So why bother with it. Keep the past in the past and move forward with your life and your husband.

when you say trouble, had to go away, do you mean jail?
No matter what happens in your absence, if you have a partner that is committed to you and you to him then that is that.
Talk with your partner first, see how he feels and where your relationship stands.
Good luck,
Irene.

If he doesn't acknowledge her why bother. She isn't worth your time.

Shouldn't you be mad at your spouse? He is the one who betrayed you.
