feel that way. Or are you like me, still trying to find a reason why we are alive? It sometimes feels like we are just specks on the universe and that we are here for no special reason.

The purpose and meaning of my life are two sides of the same coin...

I want to create, share, exchange, and enjoy LOVE at every moment... In all aspects of life i want to communicate to others and myself in "love language..."

This gives me joy, peace, contentedness, and PURPOSE...

I earn a living as a Math teacher, a labor of LOVE which is a symptom of the purpose and meaning i have in my life...

I have true friends and a loving family, also symptoms of the way i live and what i expect from life...

I feel I have meaning and purpose because God created me, like he created the animals and the plants, so everything has meaning and purpose and everyone is specially created. (Whether through gradual evolution or in 7 actual days I still believe it was all carefully watched)
I am here because God loves me and in order to love God, to love others, and to do his will. Not that I always do. But he creates good works in advance for us to do.
So I think the meaning and purpose of life is to love and to be loved, and if not by other people than at least by God.

I would write more, but it's 1am here so I really should stop being philosophical and go to bed :)

God bless.
I hope you find what your looking for!

Unless you assume a God, the question of life’s purpose is meaningless.” –Bertrand Russell (1872-1970)

Bertrand Russell was a famous atheist who nevertheless understood that life has no purpose unless you start with God.

If you try to make up/invent some purpose, you will just pick something that makes you happy at the moment. So the purpose will really be to make yourself happy.

I exist so I can be of service to people who need me at my job.
I exist because my family needs me.
I exist because when I earn a paycheck, I buy things, of which creates paychecks for others.
I exist so all the millions of one-cell creatures that live in my body, will have a strong and healthy home.
In size, we are specks. But while we are alive, we do many things for many creatures, big and small.

I think life has a meaning and purpose, but it's definitely not to wonder about your meaning and purpose. You just do life as it goes, and maybe when you're close to reaching death, you can wonder about what made you live life to this point.

my purpose here is to find a purpose. i consider myself searching. and right now, searching for said purpose is my purpose. as for the world in all, i think we have a purpose. to prove that we can live, and think, and have our individual purposes. and the more purposes one has, the more one lives, and laughs, and learns. so have many.
