I know you need to take folic acid and it is found in:

* Dark green, leafy vegetables
* Whole wheat bread
* Lightly cooked beans and peas
* Nuts and seeds
* Sprouts
* Oranges and grapefruits
* Liver and other organ meats
* Poultry
* Fortified breakfast cereals and enriched grain products

Fruits especially those high in vit. C, vegetables, eggs, folic acid, nuts-especially unroasted pecans and almonds. Smoothies are good-but use powdered milk or pasturized eggs to boost protein, not the powdered junk.

Avoid fatty foods, bacon, bologne, sausage (nitrates). Avoid as much prepackaged food as you reasonably can due to all the additives.

It's been about 5 years since the last person I know personally went through an IVF cycle and this was what was recommended. Doctor also told her to avoid fast food in general. Subway was fine.
