I'm having a hard time convincing myself that there are any nice men in the world. are they all the same cheating, lying ********. And of course not all women are******* before any smart alecs reply

All people are the same...we are all capable of the most wonderful acts of kindness and selflessness and at the same time we are all capable of unspeakable atrocity (under the 'right'/wrong circumstances)...and of course all the various shades of good/bad in between. Isn't that what the Nazi Holocaust taught us? Anyone who thinks differently is decieving themselves. The point is which way are you going? Anyway, getting back to the point.....I am a faithful husband (17 years married) but what would happen if a beautiful woman made advances? The truth is this opportunity just doesn't happen to most men very often. We secretly check out the pretty girls in the rearview mirror etc but there is virtually zero chance that some girl is going to try to chat you up. Life is difficult!

I have a wealth of wonderful women friends who I value very much indeed and it is always mutually so. I do not understand this odd fierce attitude and us & them mentality. Where do all the bitter wounds arise from? My way is to keep alive several partner relationships in which no one knows about the other, which seems to be very successful and has worked for years. I think that possessive monogamy is unhealthy and men acting in a predatory manner toward women causes a lot of bad energy, because I leave my partners to their own devices and space, which results in them always making contact with me. Anyway whatever, I have today some excellent very dear and rather diverse women sharing life's joys with me and I with them. I hope you may find the same and will draw your horns in. It is very unattractive the way you are and may be because you only attract and know "boys" and not true men ?

Well, the truth is that most men are exactly as you described. I wish it wasn't true, but it's been my experience. But, here's the thing...there are still plenty of good men out there. You just have to look for them - most nice guys don't seem very exciting, very sexy. They go unnoticed by the vast majority of women/men, mistaken as nerds or wimps. In fact, they are often kind, gentle men...just not Hot and Sexy. You need to make a choice, if you want gentle and kind, then stop looking for bad boys or hot guys. Pick a sweet, kind, uncool man, and you will probably find a partner for life. Remember, sex and hot passion fade, and it's the friendship that will carry you through the long term.

Of couse we're not all the same. And some of us have differing sexualities, hence this section. There are millions of loving committed guys out there, or guys who are willing to partner others in this style.

You're talking from personal experience, so the only static part here is yourself. I'd recommending looking inward and learning what it is about yourself, your beliefs and bahaviour that attracts such men that you're referring to, and seek changes, if this is really what you want.

I bet if you thought about it for a while you will see similarties in the bad men in your life.
Once you have pin pointed what the similarities are, avoid men with these traits.
You are in control of who you date.

I used to think like that, until I met my friend. Funny but I was in a bit of a mess at the time he came into my life and has been like a rock. There is nothing between us, we are just friends and always will be, but he has helped me through thick and thin, such a nice guy!
