I need to make some extra money (the more the better). The thing is, I don't believe in all these "money making" schemes, because you have to pay for them to tell you what to do. I often think that they are just making money off of selling you the "program" and the program may or may not even work. They are just using it to make money.

So, if you have any realistic ideas of how I could make a side income without "paying" someone to get me started, I would love to hear about it.

Thank you for your time.

Hi!

I am a single mom of 2 girls. My youngest is disabled so I work from home.

You can make extra money doing surveys (I only recommend 2 companies), writing, completing offers, and reading ads.

There are so many different ways, but you do have to know which programs are legit or you waste a lot of time. I put all the legit ones on my blogs to help others out. You can check them out buy clicking on my profile.

I hope this helps!

I dont believe any of those "money making" either. Sometimes I sell things on ebay and I always make a pretty penny out of it. Everything is free to get started, you do have to pay for listing fees but that is like $.85 so its super cheap. Whatever you have around your house basically sells. Name brands do a lot better but its a fun website and you can make extra cash... Good Luck =)

1. Become a mystery shopper and get paid for going shopping.
2. Check out narms.com (National Association of Retail Merchandisers) They have job listings for the U.S. plus Canada.
3. Count people in the movie theaters, or check out for specific trailers being shown. go to certifiedmerchandisingservices.com for more info.
4. Tap into your hobby. Once upon a time there was this guy who liked model airplanes, and there was this series of model airplane engines with this one plastic part that kept breaking all the time. So he made his own out of some scrap metal he had in his shop. And it worked so well, he made some for his friends who flew model airplanes. And then he went to some model airplane convention, and told some other guys about his part, and within a year he was machining parts for model plane enthusiasts all over the world. The last I heard he was doing up to $1 million in sales of specialized model airplane parts. So tap into your hobby and figure out how make something better and then sell it.
5. "Recycle, recycle, recycle today, instead of just throwing away!" (Blue's Clues, Blue's Experiments, produced by Nick Jr. for Nickelodeon) Don't just throw away all those bottles and cans, collect them and cash in. California redemption value is up to 5 cents per glass bottle, ten cents per aluminum can. Collect scrap metal and cash in. I know a guy who used to go around buying all of those gold chains at from the 70's and 80's at yard sales, and when the price for gold climbed back up recently he made a killing selling those gold chains as scrap. There's a place in Los Angeles that is paying up to $75 a ton for clean (no inserts) newspaper. I used to earn my gas money by recycling everything. Come to think of it, I still do.
Just some ideas for you. Good luck.

you should post your skills, talents or areas of expertise... i dont have a clue on what your good at... :) lol

but anyways just look around and keep your eyes open for bright ideas that might help you earn that extra cash that you need.
and think of the things you have now and try maximizing their use and come up with a sideline where you could use these things as the main tools, that way you wont even have to spend on anything. in the end its really all up to you. :)

hope this helps!
good luck! :)

I think it would be helpful is you name some of your interests and skills so we can better help you. It is pointless for us to name a list of things when you may be unqualified or unwilling to do what we have suggested. Not to mention, if you are going to have a side gig, you may as well do something that you love.
