droughts in the american continent in the last two years?

this is for a proyect, i'm focusing on droughts. i have to find examples of droughts in america in the last two years. i've been looking, but no luck so far. i'd appreciate your help if you can spare the time. i only need two or three examples, i'll keep looking on my own and put it in ''details'' if i find some, but could you please help. and i sort of need it for today.

I live in southern calif. the rainfall is measured from July to July. We are going to have our dryest season on record.
