Racist White People Call You Black Because They Don't Like The Idea The You Have White Inside Of You And Calling You Mixed Would Be Out The Question For Them Because Although You Are Half Black Half White You Still Have Black In You And That's All They See. I'm Black And If I See A Mixed Person I Refer To Them As Mixed And Not Black Or White.

Does it really matter - I am white and British (actually my mother is american indian so I could say I was mixed race!). Interestingly you refer to white people who call you black as "racist white people" - but do not slur the entire black community with the racism tag for not referring to you as black.
Sounds to me like you have some issues. Be proud of who you are - let the anger go. Stop looking at people in colour and just see the person in front of you.

People who are bothering to make a point about your skin colour are racist, unless it is to compliment you on it :)
You also seem to have issues with it as you are concerned about everyone acknowledging the fact that you are mixed race. Who cares? If you're a good person, isn't that enough?

Weird for me too. Black people say Im yellow, White people say Im yellow....what the hell am I? A bottle of Sunny D? WE ARE MIXED, MULATTO, BIRACIAL, OREO COOKIE.....w/e you want to call it. Those people are rude and need to be slapped. You are beautiful, embrace it, get all the tans you want, and claim both races proudly with a huge smile on your face.

Yes, weird. You're simply a member of the human race and, like jelly babies, we come in all colours.
Interesting, though, that white people who think you are black are racist but black people who think you are white are not...

I am sorry you have to go through that. That's actually sad.
My kids are medium skin tone(see pics by clicking on the link on my profile page), and their African-American family say that they are black. My daughter, only just turned five on Saturday, when I said she sounded like a suburban white girl, this baby sucked her teeth at me and said, "Mommy, I am not white. I am black. Now get it right."
So, take it from my daughter. Say what you are, how you prefer to be identified, and add strongly, "Now get it right!"
Love and lots of blessings to you.

Its not about being lazy its just the simple fact of people not being able to tell the difference in different nationalities. In all fairness there are so many different nationalities about now days its hard to tell especially if you are mixed.
Sorry we cant tell by a colour, its really not our fault.

Look at yourself as one of the most beautiful of any race! I am caucasian, but I have many friend who are just like you. I do not see color in them either way.
Our friendship grew from having to work together, building trust in one another and honesty. I was never around many black people in my childhood and only heard stories of them. I was fearful out of ignorance. You can only judge someone if you have been in those shoes and walked that mile they did. Comprende??
One day I woke up and found out that they bled red blood just like me, they spoke the same language, they had feelings and ideas just like me...so what seemed to be the problem???? All of a sudden I had no problem with any of it!
That takes guts to tell another person of a different color that!
You have the best of both worlds and of this world with intelligent people like myself (I like to think), people who will judge you on your merits instead of color any day of the week. Sometimes ignorance is not always bliss! Stay strong and don't fight it.
Do something constructive to help others aware of your struggle and prove color is only a word in the dictionary. If they ever call you the N word...tell their sorry *** to look up the definiton in the dictionary! It has nothing to do with being of colored skin.
Look at those lame people who apparently are so confused about who they are that they tend to forget the whole point!
You are who you say you are. Color is no factor in God's eyes or anyone who claims to not be predudicial on color issues.
According to medical findings, if you have 1 drop of any Afro-American blood in you, you are considered to be of Black decent when filing any kind applications, etc., regardless of your tint of color.
Be proud to be here in this country and be glad people are aloud to express their views publicly even if they are unpopular.
Please understand that there are all kinds of people out there that get picked on. Jews, Irish, Catholic, fat, rich, poor, ugly, nerdy and more! We all have to face ignorance and it is never pleasant, but have faith, love thy self and most importantly, it is how you percieve yourself is what really counts. Stand up and be counted...be somebody and show them that color had nothing to do with it. Only hang around those that have positive influences, positive thoughts, and who you know are your real friends.

People can be weird.
Just accept you are what you are.
Can't speak for others, but I judge a person by their actions not the colour of their skin.

good question! it seems everyone IS too lazy to go into your heritage, background etc. i guess people just fine it "easier" to class you under one specific race/culture what have you.
like me, there is a lot in my heritage that makes me but i have to say the basics..half caucasion half asian, even though thats not particulary accurate!
