One assumes you have a freshwater tank and not a marine tank, in which case the Angel fish your refering to comes from the Amazon system, this system has a pH of 4-6.5 with a general hardness of around 4, meaning theres very little salt in the water more or less none existent so adding salt would kill it, or putting it in a tank with salt would kill it over an extended period.

Is this a salt water angel fish? If not you can't put a freshwater fish in a salt water tank, it will die!

Leah is correct that there are fresh water and salt water angel fish. However, you CANNOT put a fresh water fish into a salt water tank or vice versa. They will not "adjust" as Leah suggests. Putting your fish into the wrong type tank will kill it.

a million the fish you have are not even like minded. Your koi could desire to in no way be housed in a tank... era. They get too huge and are too aggressive... and it incredibly is quite inhumane to homestead some thing that could get 3' long in a small tank. Your comets ARE goldfish... and should no longer be housed with fancy goldfish. Your angelfish is a tropical fish... and how the subject continues to be alive is previous me. It desires warmth and clean water, which it incredibly isn't any longer getting being housed with goldfish and koi. and that i visit guess it incredibly is not a huge tank (think of 30 gallons for the fancies, ninety on your 2 comets and a minimum of one thousand on your koi). despite guy or woman bought you those fish for one tank is a moron... until you probably did no longer tell them what you had already. SO, that pronounced. you could desire to the two chop up your fish into separate tanks or get them new homes, because of the fact the way you're housing them now could be thoroughly inhumane. As for a turtle... certainly no longer. Your tank isn't super adequate for the fish you have, and all those fish could be is nutrition for that turtle. quite, it incredibly is basically a bad plan altogether. SO please... do a splash diagnosis in the previous you flow putting anymore incompatible fish into that tank... and please rehome those koi right into a POND (a huge one... think of one thousand+ gallons) as quickly because it incredibly is heat adequate.

There are different kinds of angelfish. There are freshwater angels and saltwater angels, both look drastically different. The saltwater angels obviously live in saltwater. You're probably thinking of the freshwater angel (deep bodied, long trailing fins) which could NOT live in saltwater.

Saltwater Angel (one of many types): http://www.aquahobby.com/marine/e_ciliaris.php
Hope that helps.

Um, if it's a saltwater fish. There are species of freshwater and saltwater angelfish. So dumping a freshwater one into a saltwater aquarium would probably kill it before it had time to adjust.
