I found a computer but was disappointed to see it ran on W95....so I was planning on using it to play NES/SNES roms on it and music, but need to find a driver for it to run my external usb hard drive.....it runs 94 4.00.95B or something like that.

Yes it had USB 1.1 but needed a driver for any hardware you tried to attach that way. Try to go to drivers.com and see if they have what you need as no one is making any drivers for win95 anymore.

Only the 95 version B has USB support. Also, the motherboard obviously needs the ports but also, the ports must be enabled in the BIOS.

If I remember right, there were 3 versions of Win95,
Win95
Win95B
Win95C (aka OSR2)

The last release had USB support but not many hardware manufactures actually made drivers for them.

accually, windows 95 should have usb support built in, however it will only be for usb 1.0, that is much much slower then usb 2.0 sorry
