First off, some housewives can and do work not only 9 to 5 jobs, but any shift they can get because they are raising the children on their own, with no dad in the picture. They are breadwinner, house cleaner, provider, mother, ect... all rolled into one! They do it all! That's not a contridiction, that's a WOMAN! Women are 'stronger' than men in the emotion world and they can handle more pressure than most any man. Women deserve more respect. Sure, every downfall the last 3 generations have suffered through and the 'kids gone wild' theories, no prayer in schools, ect... everything is traced back to 'when women went to work'. I'm not blaming women though I DO believe this is the true reason our 'everything' has changed and disipline is now just a smack on the face of a terrorist who kills us by the thousands. Woman HAD to go to work to support MAN's wars. When man came back from war, his woman was still there for him. Only now she'd been doing all these things that 'contridict' each other. Yes, everything. Man, being through the ordeals of war, sorta let things slide (for the better) and woman became more of the household decision making. Then the political decision making. Then MAN just did what MAN does. So all these women from the 60s on were more and more finding themselves alone, with children to raise and not only no jobs, but no education or training. For the next 20 years, women proved they could do as much and then more to raise their families. But, meanwhile, the children suffered. Now, in 2007, more MEN are stepping back into the picture and actually becoming 'Stay At Home Dads'... Which is not only GREAT but probally the best answer for future generations. With dad home, though the structure won't be quiet the same as it was 40 years ago, at least there will be a 'family structure' again so future generations will be better generations and we will all be the benificuaries of this. Thank you WOMAN for all your sacrafice. And Thank You MEN, for realizing YOU ARE needed in your children's lives. They don't need money. Just food, shelter, love, respect and understanding. :-) Uh, what was the question again? Oh yeah! LOL! ooops! sidetracked ;-)

Seems like there are too man things going on in your plot...I'd focus more on the bitter life of constantly working and the toil and pain she had to go through, as well as more details on her relationship with her spouse leading up to her being abandoned . Then you can move on to a sweet redemption about how she came along way to find her parents through different events. I'd leave out the Poseidon part out since it doesn't seem to accomplish much or flow with the theme of your movie (think of redemption or being reunited with family as your theme). Hope this helps a bit.

way to much. the first half is like every typical guy leaves women story.birth parents would be another story so basically you have 3 movies rolled into one.

That is messed up. If you find consistent tone, it'd probably wouldn't be that bad. Its KIND OF orignal.
