I am posting this....written by one of my friends...Jennifer K...she writes beautiful poetry..

THE TAPESTRY

Humanity is a great tapestry
Each thread representing
A soul
Each thread having an effect
On the whole
Intricate weaving of threads
In all the colors
Of the rainbow
Creating the scenes
Creating emotions
Creating Life itself

When the threads unravel
It involves the whole
Scenes break apart
Emotions erupt
And Life becomes tangled

Keeping our threads together
Is our great Life lesson
Smoothing out others threads
Is what Life is about
Together
Humanity can mend the tapestry
Repairing the holes
Calming the feelings
Combing out the tangles
Joining as one continuous
Tapestry of Life

feel better..*hugs*
~peace~

A friend surprised me this morning with the words below. Perhaps you are the reason it happened today.
I hope it helps:

People come into your life for
a reason, a season or a lifetime.
When you know which one it is, you
will know what to do for that person.

When someone is in your life for a REASON,
it is usually to meet a need you have
expressed. They have come to assist you
through a difficulty, to provide you with
guidance and support, to aid you physically,
emotionally or spiritually. They may seem
like a godsend and they are. They are there
for the reason you need them to be. Then,
without any wrongdoing on your part or at an
inconvenient time, this person will say or do
something to bring the relationship to an end.
Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away.
Sometimes they act up and force you to take a
stand. What we must realize is that our need
has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work
is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered
and now it is time to move on.

Some people come into your life for a SEASON,
because your turn has come to share, grow or learn.
They bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh.
They may teach you something you have never done.
They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy.
Believe it, it is real. But only for a season.

LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons,
things you must build upon in order to have a solid
emotional foundation. Your job is to accept the lesson,
love the person and put what you have learned to use in
all other relationships and areas of your life. It is
said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant.

Max Ehrmann

Desiderata

Go placidly amid the noise and haste,
and remember what peace there may be in silence.
As far as possible without surrender
be on good terms with all persons.
Speak your truth quietly and clearly;
and listen to others,
even the dull and the ignorant;
they too have their story.

Avoid loud and aggressive persons,
they are vexations to the spirit.
If you compare yourself with others,
you may become vain and bitter;
for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.
Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans.

Keep interested in your own career, however humble;
it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.
Exercise caution in your business affairs;
for the world is full of trickery.
But let this not blind you to what virtue there is;
many persons strive for high ideals;
and everywhere life is full of heroism.

Be yourself.
Especially, do not feign affection.
Neither be cynical about love;
for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment
it is as perennial as the grass.

Take kindly the counsel of the years,
gracefully surrendering the things of youth.
Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune.
But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings.
Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness.
Beyond a wholesome discipline,
be gentle with yourself.

You are a child of the universe,
no less than the trees and the stars;
you have a right to be here.
And whether or not it is clear to you,
no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.

Therefore be at peace with God,
whatever you conceive Him to be,
and whatever your labors and aspirations,
in the noisy confusion of life keep peace with your soul.

With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams,
it is still a beautiful world.
Be cheerful.
Strive to be happy.

I hope this helps, it's a great source of comfort to me.

I may not be that good at this but I am willing to take a shot at it if it makes you feel better...

Thank you for being you,
Thank you for being true blue,
When are alone and you can grow to be sad
To see others happiness
can sometimes drive you mad,

You carry the torch that leads the way,
You make things better for everyone anyday,
You voice is sweet the sounds of desire,
Your heart carries love for the that melting positive empire.

This may not com out right and maybe its bad
but is worse to see one of the good people
feel lonely and sad....

Your not lonely we are always here,
If you need anything an good laugh,
Good feeling or good cheer...

Have a great day and thank you for pointing out
I hope your day goes better so you have something to laugh and smile about

I know, its not that good but i did what I should do, I did what I could....

Are You Lonesome Tonight?
~ Elvis Presley

Are you lonesome tonight
do you miss me tonight
Are you sorry we drifted apart
Does your memory stray to a bright sunny day
When I kissed you and called you sweetheart
Do the chairs in your parlor seem empty and bare
Do you gaze at your doorstep and picture me there
Is your heart filled with pain, shall I come back again
Tell me dear, are you lonesome tonight

Spoken:
I wonder if you're lonesome tonight
You know someone said that the world's a stage
And each must play a part
Fate had me playing in love you as my sweet heart
Act one was when we met, I loved you at first glance
You read your line so cleverly and never missed a cue
Then came act two, you seemed to change and you acted strange
And why I'll never know
Honey, you lied when you said you loved me
And I had no cause to doubt you
But I'd rather go on hearing your lies
Than go on living without you
Now the stage is bare and I'm standing there
With emptiness all around
And if you won't come back to me
Then they can bring the curtain down

Is your heart filled with pain, shall I come back again
Tell me dear, are you lonesome tonight

Well I have only just met you Jade therefore unlike the rest I have not had the time to prepare a cliched poem. Give me a few minutes and I'll e-mail you, you should never ever be lonely in a planet of 6 billion people. I promise to keep you company

The secret of health for both body and mind is not to mourn for the past, not to worry about the future, or not to anticipate troubles, but to live in the present moment wisely and earnestly.

Smile....laugh at yourself, and take a long look at the one next to you...they could be wanting the same thing.

A person can hear, but a friend listens for the meaning
A person can look, buta friend sees the heart
A person can know...but a friend understands your dreams.
