I read that Lake Okeechobee in Florida is the second largest freshwater lake in the U.S., so I want to know which lake is salty and which lake is fresh.

they are fresh water, The lakes are mostly between the US and Canada. So they are shared between two counries.

I live in Traverse City, which is a on a bay in Lake Michigan. All the Great Lakes are definitely fresh water, with Lake Superior being the biggest. Lakes Huron, MIchigan, Erie, and Ontario follow. Lake Michigan is the biggest that is totally contained in the United States. Lakes Huron, Superior, Erie, and Ontario are split with Canada.

All 5 Great Lakes are fresh water. In fact all waterways in the northeast and midwest are freshwater. I live in Michigan as well.
