Granted he's very smart and good looking and the guests are interesting but ........

The show is fake but you cant keep away because you want to see the fat lady take off her clothes or get thrown to the ground by her best Friend.
They egg those poor people on.
I have never had a family member sleep with my boyfriends and have 2 babies buy this guy but still sleeping with another ex.....its all fake. Half the people make up the story's and the other half are idiots

People like to feel good about themselves. And compared to the people that go on his show (most of which are staged) most people would fee superior his guests. It really is a sad comment on our society and Jerry Springer would be the first to tell you that.

I despise Jerry Springer, and his show, it's white trash.
Anyone who talks about their avid sex life and issues on air, broadcasted amongst millions of viewers, is sick in the head.
Plus, it's always the same.
Some TPT 16 yr. got knocked up, and her mom, who's 43 yrs. old has a thing for her baby daddy.
Can you say gross much?
And since when is Jerry Springer hot? Yuck!
Similar to people out there? Yeah, the ones who check labels for than the F.C ******* C, and live in a trailer park.
Again, with the yuck!

I'm sure everybody has their own reasons. But I think of it as the 'train-wreck-factor'. It's the same thing that makes people stop and gawk at accidents on the freeway.
BTW -- I don't watch him. I've see bits and pieces of his shows, and that's enough for me, thank you very much. Most of those people are just looking for their 15 minutes of fame, anyway, and they know that is as close as they will ever get.

No idea, I've never actually watched a full episode, but to me it just looks like a bunch of people yelling about their problems with a camera there for the drama.

There is a low level of mentality in those that are on the show and those who watch it.
Maybe they enjoy seeing people degrade themselves in public, or it makes them feel like they don't have it so bad.

It's just entertainment. Lighten up - I don't watch it, but the people I know, including my husband, are decent people who like to laugh at other's shortcomings. It's comedy to most, but at it's worst.
