I lost my calculator can anyone tell me the square root of 306 and the square root of 169?

You should know the square root of 169 is 13
You might also want to learn how to calculate square roots, if your teacher wants you to come up with values..
306=(9)(34) so you only have to find the square root of 34.
√9 = 3 so you have 3√34. Here's how you calculate a square root. It isn't pretty, nor is it intuitive. I never had the inclination to figure out why it works. But it does.

The 306 is not a perfect square. When we use the calculator we get the value 17.492.
The 169 is a perfect square. It's value is 13.

all you have to do is type sqrt306 or sqrt169 in google and it will do the calculation
