How do I get my favorites icon to work with Firfox?

I just downloaded Firefox. But I lost my favorites icon ( the yellow star ) I understand it's now bookmark but that folder is empty.How do I move the favorites over? Can it be done? You would think Firefox would perform this task when I downloaded it.

Firefox has its own Favorites called (Bookmarks). All you need do is: Open Firefox, click File and then "Import". That will import your IE "Favorites" to Firefox.
