x + 21 - x = 4x - 24 = x
21 = 3x - 24

45 / 3 = 3x / 3
45 / 3 = x

I assume on the right side of the equation 2(4x + 10) is what you mean
6(3x - 55)= 2(4x + 10)
18x - 330 = 8x + 20
18x - 330 - 8x = 8x + 20 - 8x
10x - 330 = 20
10x - 330 + 330 = 20 + 330
10x = 350
10x / 10 = 350 / 10
x = 350 / 10
x = 35

15x + 5 = 12x + 14
15x + 5 - 12x = 12x + 14 - 12x
3x + 5 = 14
3x + 5 - 5 = 14 - 5

x + 21 = 4x - 24 __add 24 & subtract x on both sides
45 = 3x __divide both sides by 3
15 = x
6 (3x - 55) = 2 (4x - 10) __*I'm guessing that's supposed to be a minus sign? Anyways.. you can divide both sides by 2 to make the numbers smaller (smaller numbers = easier problem.)
3 (3x - 55) = 4x - 10 __distribute the 3
9x - 165 = 4x - 10 __add 165 & subtract 4x on both sides
5x = 155 __divide both sides by 5
x = 31
5 (3x + 1) = 2 (6x + 7) __distribute the 5 & 2
15x + 5 = 12x + 14 __subtract 12x & subtract 5 on both sides
3x = 9 __divide both sides by 3
x = 3
**edit: after reading the question again, it makes more sense that the = in #2 is supposed to be a +. So here's how to do that:
6 (3x - 55) = 2 (4x + 10) __ divide by 2 to make the problem easier.
3 (3x - 55) = 4x + 10 __ distribute the 3
9x - 165 = 4x + 10 __ add 165 & subtract 4x on both sides
5x = 175 __ divide both sides by 5
x = 35
