Rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle saturate the furniture with it, then let it dry.

I would use a house washing solution that comes in a bottle pre made. Attach it to the end of your hose and spray the solution on the furniture to soap it down. Rinse and let air dry. Otherwise find out where the rats are dwelling and get rid of the problem with some rat poison.
Pour out some drain crystals along the area the rats are coming from and running into. When the crystals touch their feet, it will burn them and they will lick it off. They will carry back to the nest and kill off others too.

If it's cloth see if it comes off for machine washing... OR spray with lysol disenfectant and let dry in the sun. Also you might want to store the cushions in an outside shed to keep from keeping ruined by rats/weather etc...
