I color-coded the wires so I'd remember which ones go where. But there are two black wires I must have missed and now I can't figure where they go. Can anyone help with detail as to what wires/colors go where on the solenoid posts? I'm not good at wiring diagrams. Thank you.

Also, there is a round metal module with a brown, a pink and a blue wire, and this module is to be bolted on, grounded, with one of the bolts that attach the solenoid...

They could ground wires attached to one of the solenoid mounting bolts. I don't have a diagram for your machine but if the terminal ends are round and the right size for the mounting bolts, it seems like a logical guess.
