I'd wear sneakers without socks. And you know what? I probably wouldn't have stinky shoes by the end of the month. I know a few tricks to prevent it.

i dont see the connection but....i wore sneakers before without socks.. it wasnt that bad...and i would try to eat a beetle (actually i did before.. kind of roasted beetle actually.. not bad tasting either).. but no.. not for dinner for a month.. hehehe
